Service #1 Name: Housing for Working Homeless Women

Service description/features: House and feed unaccompanied working women
Allows women to save their money to get a fresh start with their own housing
The cost to the client is free

Service #2 Name: Soup Kitchen

  • Breakfast and lunch served Monday – Friday; Lunch served on Saturdays
  • Allows homeless and low income people two hot meals during the week and a hot meal on weekends.
  • There is no charge for this service
  • Our clients expect to be fed on these given days and the quality of food to be excellent.
  • Serve hot meals to those who may not have anywhere else to eat.

Service # 3 Name: Adult Basic Education Program

  • Provides basic educational services to those seeking a GED
  • Private tutoring and practice testing
  • There is no charge for this service
  • Time: Monday – Thursday. Our clients expect to be able to pass a GED test

Service #4 Name: Volunteer Housing and Meals

  • House and feed those coming to New Orleans to help in the rebuilding process.
  • Benefits: Location, hot meals, comfortable beds
  • Service price: $12.50 – $20.00/person/day
  • 3 meals/day; respect, clean facility

Service #5 Name: Food Bank

  • Provide frozen and non-perishable food boxes to those who qualify according to Second Harvest Food Bank Guidelines
  • Helps to defray food costs
  • There is no charge for this service
  • Our clients expect consistency in service hours and both perishable and non-perishable food.
